The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) detained two guys after their truck flipped numerous times while attempting to evade OBN agents and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
OBN agents attempted to stop their truck, but they refused.
According to OBN, DeAndre James Myrick and Deshon Deon Abram were involved in a pursuit on I-35 near Ardmore, Oklahoma on Wednesday, May 28.
The chase reached speeds of 110 mph.
According to OBN, the couple drove to Oklahoma City from Texas and bought 20 pounds of black market marijuana to bring back to Texas.
“During the pursuit, one of the occupants threw several items from the truck, including a loaded handgun,” OBN spokesman Mark Woodward stated.
Following the crash, Myrick and Abram were brought to a nearby hospital before being sent to jail.
They are facing multiple charges. This is a continuing investigation.
