A disabled tractor-trailer shut down a ramp at the Route 222/Route 30 intersection in Lancaster County on Tuesday morning, according to PennDOT.

Crews arrived to the incident in Manheim Township at 10:30 a.m. to discover the tractor-trailer completely blocking traffic.

The ramp connecting Route 222 southbound and Route 30 westbound was closed.

The ramp is now reopened.

Due to the shutdown, traffic on Route 222 southbound was backed up for kilometers.

Drivers on Route 222 southbound who wished to head west on Route 30 received the following directions:

  • Take Route 222 southbound to the ramp for Route 30 eastbound.
  • Exit at New Holland Pike/Route 23 and go westbound on Route 30.
