On the afternoon of May 27, a person was murdered as a result of an event that occurred at a construction site in Eagle Mountain.
A 19-year-old guy was working in a trench at a “residential construction site” when he was struck in the head by the bucket of an excavator, resulting in his death, according to Serjeant Ray Ormond of the Utah County Sheriff’s Office.
There was an accident that took place on Blackbird Drive.
As far as Ormond is concerned, the person operating the excavator did not notice the 19-year-old when he started excavating in the trench.
The event is currently being investigated by detectives from the Utah County Sheriff’s Office as well as investigators from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
When asked about the situation, Ormond stated that it seemed to have been “a very tragic accident.”
