DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) —
Teens and adults in the Wiregrass looking to tap into their creative side are invited to a special journaling workshop at the Community Room at the Westgate Library.
The workshop will beThursday, June 26, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Hosted by the Dothan Houston County Library System, this expressive arts and crafts event is open to ages 15 and up and offers a chance to design and personalize your very own journal.
Participants will use a variety of colors and materials to bring their blank books to life before diving into a guided series of writing prompts focused on self-reflection, storytelling and creative exploration.
Organizers say the hour-long session is a space to freely explore thoughts and imagination using any medium, such as doodling or journaling.
Registration is required and closes at 4:00 p.m. on the day of the event. A valid DHCLS library card is needed to register.
