DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Authorities are investigating a Saturday night shooting in Dothan that left at least two people injured.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire on Lake Street just before 10 p.m. According to Dothan Police, one victim was already transported to a hospital by someone at the scene before first responders arrived. A second person may also have been wounded, though details remain limited.
The conditions of the victims have not been released.
Dothan police, along with Houston County deputies, secured the area with crime scene tape around Lake Street and Bayshore Avenue as the investigation continues.
