Trump Says U.S. Warplanes Struck Three Iranian Nuclear Sites

WASHINGTON (WDNews)—United States military planes successfully conducted airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear installations on Saturday. President Donald Trump declared the mission a success and confirmed that all aircraft returned safely.

Trump said in a post on Truth Social that the targets included sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan that have long been connected to Iran’s nuclear program.

The president said, “A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow,” which is Iran’s subterranean enrichment plant. The planes have now left Iranian airspace and returned to safety, he continued.

The president did not elaborate on the precise aircraft that was utilized or the extent of the damage. The Department of Defense has not released any more public statements as of Saturday afternoon.

A week of increased tensions between the United States and Iran preceded Trump’s declaration. The scenario is still evolving.
