Trump Says Intelligence Reports on Iran Strike Were ‘Premature’

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WDNews) — President Donald Trump criticized early intelligence reports that minimized the damage from U.S. airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, claiming they were inaccurate and lacking. He fought back against these assessments Thursday, June 26.

Trump claimed during a press conference that the intelligence community had released a preliminary report that lacked concrete evidence but defined the strike’s consequences as perhaps limited or severe.

According to Trump, they ought to have waited to release a report until they had all the facts. It had been completely destroyed.

Trump accused media organizations of using the early judgment to downplay the military operation’s success.

“All they can do is guess,” he continued. We have the photos. We now have the information. That website is no longer there.

Alongside Trump, Marco Rubio also voiced his opinion, describing the strike as one of the most accurate and valiant actions conducted by American military in recent memory.

“You better get a big shovel and dig deep if you want to know what happened at Fordow,” Rubio added, alluding to one of Iran’s most important nuclear installations.

The president’s comments coincide with increased criticism of the timing and veracity of information leaks about US military operations.
