Skipperville, Ala. (WDNews) On Saturday, July 5, an 18-year-old driver in Dale County lost his life in an early-morning collision.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reports that the single-vehicle collision occurred on Dale County Road 41, approximately five miles north of Skipperville, at roughly 1:00 a.m. According to authorities, the 2010 Toyota Tacoma crashed into a tree after veering off the road.
The minor, who has not been made public, was declared deceased at the scene and was not wearing a seat belt.
The cause of the collision is still being looked into by troopers of the ALEA Highway Patrol Division. No other information has been made public.
