DOTHAN, AL (WDNews) Southeast NonProfit Housing Inc. has been working to enhance the lives of farmworkers and their families since 2006 by providing workforce development and housing assistance.

For migrant and seasonal farmworkers, Southeast NonProfit Housing Inc. provides job placement assistance, training opportunities, and career counseling. These programs offer occupational education, basic skills development, and on-the-job training with the goal of fostering long-term financial independence. Participating employers may be eligible for up to 75% pay reimbursement during training periods for skills like diesel mechanics and CDL certification.

They assist young people through internships, alternative schooling alternatives, and mentoring in addition to adult services. To assist young people in making the move to higher education or the workforce, programs emphasize career readiness, financial literacy, and leadership development.

The company has offices in North Carolina (Clinton, Lumberton, Rocky Mount, Statesville), Georgia (Douglas, Moultrie, Valdosta, Vidalia), and Alabama (Cullman, Dothan, Mobile). Farmworkers in all three states are served by career centers.
