OZARK, AL (WDNews) — A 24-year-old male is being sought by police in relation to a drive-by shooting that left one person hurt early on Sunday morning.
According to the Ozark Police Department, the shooting took place on the 600 block of Willa Street at approximately one in the morning on August 10. When officers arrived, they discovered that the victim, who had been wounded in the lower leg, had already been driven to Dale Medical Center in a private vehicle. The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, and they have been discharged from the hospital.
According to investigators, the shooting resulted from a continuing argument about a woman between the victim’s brother and the defendant. The victim, the intended target’s unoccupied automobile, and an occupied house were all hit by multiple shots fired from a vehicle.
According to the description, the suspect, Brandon Dwayne Bonds, is around 182 pounds in weight and 6 feet 5 inches tall. He is thought to be armed and dangerous, and he is driving a silver 2019 Nissan Altima with the Alabama license plate 26C07PD.
Bonds is wanted for firing into an occupied residence, discharging a firearm into an unoccupied car, and attempting to commit murder.
