– The Dothan Housing Authority will open its online waitlist for the Wiregrass Regional Housing Choice Voucher Program starting Monday, June 9 at 8:00 a.m. CST.
The window to apply will remain open through Thursday, June 12, closing at 5:30 p.m. CST. All applications must be completed online—no paper forms or faxed entries will be accepted.
This federally funded program, often referred to as Section 8, assists eligible low-income families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities in securing affordable and safe housing. Approved participants can choose from a variety of rental options, including apartments, townhomes, and single-family homes, as long as the properties meet program standards.
