– A new specialty license plate promoting mental health awareness is now available for preorder in Alabama.
The “Mental Health Matters” tag is seeking at least 1,000 preorders to go into production. Supporters are encouraged to secure their plates early to help reach the goal. Proceeds from the plate will be used to promote mental health resources across the state.
Organizers say the initiative aims to reduce stigma and raise awareness by taking the mental health conversation to the streets—literally.
