DOTHAN, AL (WDNews)—Organizers are reminding attendees of safety regulations and showcasing a jam-packed schedule of community events and entertainment as the 81st National Peanut Festival draws near.
With the theme “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” the 2025 festival will take place from October 31 to November 9.On Saturday, October 25, the National Peanut Festival Parade will begin in downtown Dothan at 3 p.m. to kick off the festivities. With floats, marching bands, neighborhood groups, and special visitors, the procession will resume its customary course along Main Street.
Vincent Mason will perform live at the All In Amphitheater on Sunday, November 2, followed by Shenandoah on Tuesday, November 4, and Anne Wilson, a contemporary Christian musician, on Wednesday, November 5. For every show, there are reserved and preferred seating options.
The National Peanut Festival website states that the following guidelines are being enforced by festival officials:

Weapons are prohibited, and all guests will pass through metal detectors at entry.

Attendees must follow public safety instructions in case of emergency.

No running is allowed on festival grounds.

Disruptive behavior, foul language, or obscene gestures are not tolerated.

No alcohol is permitted. Violators may be removed or face legal charges.

Fighting, throwing objects, or violent behavior will result in immediate ejection.

Smoking and vaping are allowed only in designated areas.
