MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WDNews)
– The Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum will honor active-duty and retired service members during its annual Military Appreciation Day on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
From 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., all military personnel and their dependent family members will receive
free admission
to the zoo and museum. Military ID is required at the gate.
In addition to free entry, guests can enjoy a complimentary lunch with food and refreshments served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Zoo’s Main Events area.
Included with admission are access to the Mann Wildlife Learning Museum, the Waters of the World exhibit, the Reptile Facility, a complimentary train ride, and educational keeper talks at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
The event is a way for the zoo to say thank you to the men and women who serve—and their families—by offering a fun, full day of appreciation and exploration.
