Jackson County, Fla. (WDNews) – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a wanted man in the Cottondale area Thursday morning.
Deputies and the K9 Tracking Unit are working to locate Chase Michael Howard, who is wanted on multiple felony warrants out of Bay County, including aggravated assault. Authorities say Howard was last seen near Obert Road wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, and a black hat.
Drivers are urged to use caution on Highway 231 near Obert Road, where there is currently a heavy law enforcement presence.
Anyone who sees Howard or has information on his location is asked to call 911 immediately.
