Montgomery, Alabama (WDNews) – Governor Kay Ivey sent out a video greeting on Monday welcoming kids to the new school year, encouraging them to work hard, dream big, and make this year memorable.
Whether they are in elementary school or getting ready to graduate, Governor Ivey encourages kids in her message to make objectives and welcome the new beginning that comes with a new school year.
According to Ivey, there’s something thrilling about the first day of classes. A new beginning. A fresh start. A time to dream large and set goals.
The governor reminded pupils that Alabama classrooms are contributing to the next chapter of America’s history by connecting the school year to the country’s impending 250th birthday.
“Every science experiment you try, every book you read, and every math problem you solve adds up to something bigger,” she said. It equips you to serve, lead, and influence our future.
As she concluded her remarks, former educator Governor Ivey urged kids to be brave, kind, and strong. Because someone might say, “That student changed Alabama,” in the future. Furthermore, I wouldn’t be shocked if you were that student.
