DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) –
The Friends of the Library (FOL) Big Book Sale is back and will run August 15–24, 2025, at the Westgate Recreation Center Gym in Dothan.
Thousands of books, DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, vintage items and more will be available. Shoppers can expect neatly organized sections by genre and author, with fiction sorted alphabetically and nonfiction grouped by category.
Prices start at just 50¢ for children’s books and go up to $2 for hardcovers. Vintage and like-new items will be individually priced.
Shoppers are welcome to bring rolling carts, wagons, boxes or bags. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted.
Volunteers may be available to help with carrying large loads.
FOL Members can shop early on August 14 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you are not a member, you can join at the door for $5.
