DOTHAN, AL (WDNews) This September, the Park Concert Series will bring free live music back to downtown, providing two evenings of family-friendly outdoor entertainment.
In addition to local vendors, food trucks, and artwork, Art in Public Places will be participating in the concerts. On Saturday, September 13, Art in Public Places will debut a new art piece.
On Saturday, September 13, Brian Dawe, Up To No Good, Local Brand, and Billy Allen + The Pollies will perform as part of the first night of The Park Concert Series Vol. 2. At 3 p.m., the music starts, and it lasts all evening.
The series continues with Vol. 3, which features OTIS as the main attraction, on Friday, Sept. 19. At 5:30 p.m., Ghost River Revival and Dc van Mathews will kick off the evening.
In order to make the events accessible to the community and to promote downtown Dothan as a center for local music and culture, the organizers stress that entrance is free.
