Washington County, Fla. (WDNews) — A 21-year-old Ebro man is facing a felony charge after allegedly assaulting his mother during a domestic disturbance earlier this week.

According to officials, the victim told deputies that her son, Jayden Reid Haines, punched her during a verbal argument. Haines initially left the home but returned soon after. When the victim tried to drive away, Haines got into the vehicle and repeatedly turned it off to prevent her from leaving.
