– United Soccer playoffs are coming to Dothan for the first time, with Rip Hewes Stadium set to host first-round action after Dothan United Soccer’s successful bid.
Two games are scheduled for Friday, July 18. The winners will advance to play again on Sunday, July 20. Matchups will be announced Monday, including which team the Dothan Dragons will face.
Dothan United capped their regular season with a strong 10-2 record, finishing at the top of the South Central Division. In just two years, the Dragons have paved the way for a successful Dothan team that the community can rally behind.
Tickets are available now on the Dothan United Soccer website. Fans can purchase single-day tickets for either Friday or Sunday, or opt for a discounted combo pass that includes both days.
The playoff appearance and hosting rights mark a milestone for the city, with Dothan emerging as a rising force in regional soccer.
