For the first time since 2020, live music and street vendors will return to downtown Dothan with the City of Dothan’s new Porter Event Plaza concert series, for which vendor registration is now open.
The Park Concert Series will fill Porter Park Plaza with food trucks, retail stores, and musical performances while closing parts of St. Andrews Street near the Dothan Opera House. While the Friday event will only be held in the evening, the Saturday event will continue from mid-day until early evening.
Spaces for food vendors cost $100, while those for retail vendors cost $25. Participation requires a business license from the City of Dothan. Early registration is encouraged because space is limited.
The lineup for the show consists of:
-
September 13th, Saturday Local Brand, Brian Dawe, Up To No Good, and Billy Allen + The Pollies
-
Otis, Ghost River Revival, and Dcovan Matthews on Friday, September 19
-
Chancelor Lawson, Up To No Good, Judtown, and Aileen Clayton Music on Saturday, October 4.
-
November 22, Saturday Gage Cowart, Andrew Vincent, and the Alabama Heathens
