DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews)
– The Dothan City Early Head Start program is now accepting applications for the upcoming year and is encouraging families to enroll eligible children as soon as possible.
The program is available to families with children from birth to age three, as well as expectant mothers. It provides comprehensive early childhood education, health services, and family support at no cost to qualifying families.
To qualify, families must live within the Dothan City limits and meet federal income guidelines. Children with disabilities are also eligible to apply.
Applications can be picked up at the Dothan City Board of Education’s Head Start office, located at 2999 Ross Clark Circle. For more information, parents are encouraged to call (334) 794-1440 during regular business hours.
