Plans to create a new, full-color Dothan Area Community Map and Resource Guide have been announced by the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce (WDNews). The City of Dothan, the Chamber, and Visit Dothan will distribute the guide, which will be created in collaboration with Town Square Publications, as the official city-endorsed map.
The goal of this project is to assist local companies in reaching out to prospective relocation candidates, tourists, and newcomers. Companies can place ads in the guide, which will include professional resource information, a street map, and classified listings.
Over the following 12 to 14 months, over 10,000 copies will be printed and distributed, according to Chamber President Matt Parker. The Chamber’s website will also link to an online edition. Additionally, free folded maps will be given to participating businesses for their personal use.
