Ala OZARK. On Saturday, August 9, at the Ozark Civic Center, fans of comics, pop culture, and costume play will have the opportunity to display their best looks at the Deep South Para-Comi-Con cosplay competition.
The tournament, which will be held at 320 East College Street, will start at 3:00 p.m. CST, and in-person registration will close at 2:30 p.m. At 5:00 p.m., the winners will be revealed on the main stage of the event.
Participants can register online at deepsouthparacomiccon.com or in person. Cosplayers from all across the region attend the event because it offers cash awards and other incentives for the best outfits.
The competition is a component of the broader Deep South Para-Comi-Con event, which brings together fan culture, comics, gaming, and paranormal interests in one location.
