Coffee & Chill ATX hosts healthy morning house parties

Coffee vendors and cold plunge tubs flood the floor as guests pour into LZR, a location for Coffee and Chill ATX, where they may mingle, sip coffee, and dance. At 10 a.m., a healthy house party is created by the loud house music coming from the speakers.

Every other Saturday, Coffee and Chill ATX hosts parties at different locations throughout downtown Austin; the precise dates are listed in their Instagram bio. The general admission price is $29 and the early access price is $39; tickets go on sale at coffeeandchill.com at 10 a.m. All drinks, vendor goods, and sponsor experiences are included in these costs.

According to co-founder Jack Zimmerman, “the planning that goes into it is fantastic, and we get to source venues and brand partners.” We have a team coming together, but what really makes the event for me is when everyone is having a great time and getting to know one another.

Coffee and Chill LA, created by creators Blake Waller and George Miller, served as the model for Coffee and Chill ATX. With activities like cold plunges and coffee sipping, the concept centers on organizing an occasion that emphasizes community and wellness. Waller and Miller invited all of their friends and organized a social gathering that featured upbeat music and nutritious drinks.

Co-founder Hallie Meland said, “Wow, Austin could really use this,” when Jack and I learned about it. After consuming clean ingredient foods, coffees, matchas, B-12 shots, and everything else we have on hand that promotes physical and mental well-being, you depart (as) a better version of yourself.

Meland stated that she intended to invite local companies to cater the events, which would be based on the pillars of coffee, community, and icy plunges. In keeping with their basic principles, the founders offer healthy vendors so that guests can feel secure about the contents of the goods.

Meland stated, “We don’t sign any vendors without really, really investigating them.” Since our community comes first, we examine the labels of all the ingredients and make sure that their values match ours. If we do something that isn’t in line with our community, they will notice.

Coffee and Chill ATX aims to reach a wider audience in Austin by emphasizing community. According to social media marketer Lauren Walden, what makes this event special to Austin is its emphasis on social wellness.

The only goal of this gathering, according to Walden, is for everyone to have a good time and start their weekend off correctly every other Saturday morning. We want everyone to participate in that wellness activity, regardless of whether they were partying the night before or are sober. We stand out in the Austin event community thanks to it.

While Friday evenings in downtown Austin are lively, Meland and Zimmerman emphasize the excitement and pleasure of Saturday mornings.

Meland remarked, “It feels like an outdoor club in the morning.” Jack and I enjoy nightlife because we are both from the hospitality industry. By no means are we attempting to replace it, but we are undoubtedly attempting to enhance it.
