Taiisha Walton, a candidate for the District 3 School Board, met with Wiregrass Daily News in Dothan, Alabama (WDNews) to talk about her goals for the district’s schools.
Through adopt-a-school initiatives, Walton is dedicated to standing up for all students and fostering closer relationships between educational institutions, corporations, and religious institutions.
She wants to give parents, teachers, and children access to additional resources, opportunities, and support.
Walton also believes in actively incorporating parents in all stages of the educational process and emphasizes the significance of strong accountability within the school board.
Her campaign is focused on community-driven progress, transparency, and teamwork.
