(WDNews) PANAMA CITY BEACH, FLAfter ten years of operation, a popular Pier Park restaurant and bar has closed.

Earlier this month, Brass Tap, which is located at 100 Pier Park Drive, Unit 130, posted on Facebook that it would not be extending its lease. On August 16, the eatery, which was well-known for its American-style cuisine and craft beer, formally closed.

We regretfully have to inform you that, as stated in the August 7 post, we will be pouring our final beer on Saturday, August 16. The last ten years have been very remarkable. We would want to express our gratitude to our amazing staff, each and every one of our visitors, and our devoted regulars who have become like family.

Business representatives thanked clients in several posts prior to the closure and urged them to make one last stop. Many people expressed their sorrow over the loss of the long-standing establishment in the more than 100 reactions, 40 comments, and 10 shares that were received by the initial announcement.

Brass Tap’s departure signifies the end of a ten-year presence on the west end of Pier Park, which is still one of the most visited locations in the Panama City Beach area.
