on Wednesday.

Scott is the first Troy golfer to receive the national recognition since Matt Robbins and Kevin Blanton were honored in 1993. He was a key player in the Trojans’ historic 2025 season, which ended with the program’s first-ever appearance in the NCAA Championships as a Division I school.

Throughout the season, Scott posted six under-par finishes in eight tournaments, helping Troy climb as high as No. 46 in the national rankings. The team secured a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Urbana Regional, punching their ticket to the NCAA Championships.

“Brantley Scott becoming an All-American is an honor he will carry with him the rest of his life,” said head coach Clay Bounds. “The program’s last All-Americans were back in the early ’90s, so for Brantley to revitalize that distinction is something we are all very proud of. He definitely earned it by the way he played and carried himself on and off the golf course.”

Scott finished the 2025 season with a Troy-record 70.96 stroke average and a -0.54 score versus par. He shot under par in 13 of his 24 rounds and tied for 36th at the NCAA Championship. He also earned All-Sun Belt honors for his standout performance.
