Blue Bell Recalls Ice Cream for Undeclared Nuts in Mispackaged Cartons

DOTHAN, AL (WDNews) — Due to the presence of unreported nuts in its Moo-llennium Crunch flavor, Blue Bell Ice Cream has voluntarily recalled a small quantity of half-gallon boxes.

Moo-llennium Crunch Ice Cream that was accidentally packaged in cartons of chocolate chip cookie dough but labeled with a Moo-llennium Crunch top is the subject of the recall. Unstated on the package, the product may contain pecans, walnuts, and almonds.

According to Blue Bell, consuming the mislabeled ice cream could result in serious or fatal responses for those who have severe sensitivity to these nuts or allergies. No sicknesses have been reported, according to the business.

The identifier 061027524 on the lid identifies the half-gallons. Alabama, Arkansas, the Florida Panhandle, northwest Georgia, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and southwest Virginia were among the states where they got their distribution.
