Bella Hadid has a fantastic romance, straight out of a Western epic!

Since 2023, the supermodel has been dating Adán Bañuelos, a Mexican-American equestrian and real-life cowboy, and their relationship has gained popularity among admirers.

Now, she’s turned heads even more by admitting that the relationship has made having her own family a key priority. Find out more about Adán and his romance with Bella below.

They Met in Texas

During a recent interview with British Vogue, Bella, 28, stated that she was living in Texas with her mother, Yolanda Hadid, and stepfather while dealing with a severe illness and “self-love issues.”

She then said, “I’m starting to feel a little better, but I’m still dealing with my own issues. Then, the next day, I met my lover,” adding, “I saw him walk in and it was like a breath of fresh air.”

It was at a horse show, and she went on to say, “So he basically walked into the exhibit hall, which is where we do all of the show stuff.” I was getting my cowboy hat fitted. I saw him and thought, “That’s the…” “I’ve always wanted the cowboy.”

He is a Professional Equestrian

Adán, 37, is the son of Ascención Bañuelos, who was the first Mexican-American to be admitted into the National Cutting Horse Association’s Hall of Fame. He has followed in his father’s footsteps, and in March 2024, he earned the American Performance Horseman title for the second year in a row, earning $100,000.

They’ve Bonded Over Their Love for Horses

Bella has been an ardent horseback rider since she was a child, and she has found the ideal companion to encourage her passion. She very recently began competing, and in December 2024, she was named the National Horse Association’s (NCHA) 2024 Limited Age Event (LAE) Rookie of the Year.

Adán celebrated the achievement on Instagram at the time, writing: “To say we’re proud would be an understatement. @bellahadid. First year out. Futurity Limited Am Reserve Champion. “Amateur Rookie of the Year.”

She is Ready for Babies

“Family is on my mind,” Bella recently told British Vogue, adding, “I can’t wait to be a mom.” She is currently a devoted aunt to her sister Gigi Hadid’s four-year-old kid with ex Zayn Malik, Khai.

“I think I’m somebody for a lot of people,” she continued, adding: “But in the true personal way of being the person that somebody can count on constantly, it will alter my life for me. “And I can’t wait.”
