AMBER Alert Issued for Missing 5-Year-Old Boy in Georgia

DECATUR, Ga. (WDNews) – Authorities have issued an AMBER Alert for a 5-year-old boy believed to be in extreme danger after he was reported missing from Decatur on Thursday.

According to officials, Yasir Felton-Smith was last seen with 23-year-old Tia Lache Smith. Investigators have not confirmed whether Smith is related to the child.

Yasir is described as having black hair in a low haircut and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants with green stripes, black Nike slides, and no shirt.

Smith was last seen wearing a dark sweatshirt and blue jeans. She has black hair styled in braids and brown eyes. She is believed to be driving a silver 2013 Dodge Avenger with Georgia license plate SFE9628.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Yasir Felton-Smith is urged to contact local authorities immediately.
