Montgomery, Alabama (WDNews) Alabama is vying for a national championship, but not in sports this time. To win the American Association of State Troopers’ (AAST) Best-Looking Cruiser Contest, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is requesting assistance.
In order to stylishly promote Sweet Home Alabama, Governor Kay Ivey and Miss America 2025, Abbie Stockard, are seen in the contest submission for 2025 holding a Trooper Tahoe and a slick ALEA Camaro.
ALEA said in the release, “With this all-star lineup, we’re asking everyone to join our team and vote so we can bring home another national title.”
“This yearly competition is an enjoyable way to compete with our fellow state agencies for a worthy cause,” ALEA Secretary Hal Taylor stated. We appreciate Governor Ivey, who has consistently stood up for law enforcement, and Miss Abbie Stockard, who gracefully and poisedly represents the State of Alabama, for being honored guests in this year’s picture.
Voting will continue until July 11. In addition to being on the cover of the AAST’s America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers 2026 Wall Calendar, the victorious state will also receive the Best Looking Cruiser Award. The AAST Foundation, which provides scholarships for dependents of member troopers, will benefit from the sale of the calendars, which will begin on October 1, 2025, at www.statetroopers.org.
