Dothan, Alabama (WDNews) On Tuesday, July 8, the Dothan Houston County Library System is asking individuals in the area to participate in a unique writing session that will explore the power of color and imagination.
The Downtown Library’s Main Community Room, located at 445 N. Oates Street, will host the Color Your World Writing Workshop from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Ages 19 and up are welcome to attend the session, and registration must be completed by 5 p.m. on the day of the event.
This interactive workshop, led by Gabrielle Esposito, will walk participants through how color affects emotions in visual art and narrative. In order to understand how color selections may alter tone, mood, and meaning in creative work, attendees will engage in freewriting exercises and construct their own custom color wheel.
