A Place to Recharge: Vineyard Christian Retreat Center

Published On:

Al and Dothan (WDNews) Steve Tipton of Vineyard Christian Retreat Center, which is situated in Coffee County’s northeast, was a delight to speak with on Wiregrass Daily News.

Established in 1982 and acquired by the Coffee County Baptist Association in 1991, the retreat offers a space for families and church groups to disconnect from everyday distractions and deepen their relationship with God.

There are several places to stay on the 110-acre site, such as a conference center that can accommodate 160 people, a lake cabin that can accommodate 50 people, and a conference lodge for retreats for adults. Pastors and ministers are welcome to use the free family cabins that are also available.

The retreat has areas for study and worship, as well as lakes for fishing and canoeing, a ball field, an indoor gym, obstacle courses, and more.

Every visit is different since groups are allowed to create their own timetables. You can contact 334-762-2256 or visit vineyardretreat.org for more information.
