(WDNews) DOTHAN, AL — Werner is recalling over 122,000 ladders because of a locking mechanism flaw that might cause users to fall and sustain injuries.
The 20-foot and 24-foot Multi-Max Pro ladders that were only offered at Home Depot from November 2021 to February 2024 are the subject of the recall, which was carried out in collaboration with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission. The range of prices was $200 to $281.
The ladders are silver with a blue top, model numbers ALMP-20IAA or ALMP-24IAA, and a blue label with the Werner emblem on the side rail. In the rear of them is a long, black rope. According to Werner, it has received 18 fall-related reports, 14 of which have included injuries such head injuries, rib, leg, and wrist fractures, as well as bruises and cuts.
Owners are asked to register for a complete refund at wernerco.com/recalls and to cease using the ladders right now. Customers will get a refund check once the ladder has been disposed of in accordance with business guidelines.

Werner pointed out that the ALMP-16IAA and ALMP-18IAA models are not included in the recall because to their distinct designs.
