Malcolm-Jamal Warner, best known for his role as Theo Huxtable on
The Cosby Show
, has died at the age of 54, according to multiple reports.
Warner died by drowning while on vacation in Costa Rica, sources told

. Details surrounding the incident remain limited, but authorities are treating it as an accidental death.
Warner rose to national prominence in the 1980s for his portrayal of the youngest son in the Huxtable family on the long-running NBC sitcom. He was nominated for an Emmy Award for the role and remained a household name throughout the show’s eight-season run.
