DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) –
Families in the Wiregrass can get a head start on the new school year at the Back to School Extravaganza, happening Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will be held at the Michael C. Patton Event Center, located at 1001 Montana St. in Dothan. It will feature free haircuts and hairstyles, school supply giveaways, and other back-to-school resources for local children and their families.
Hosted by Dothan Housing, the event is open to the public. Organizers are also accepting donations and seeking vendors to participate.
