Fifteen Honored as Dothan’s 2025 Elite Under 40

DOTHAN, AL (WDNews) – On Thursday, Aug. 21 at 5:30 p.m., the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce’s Dothan Area Young Professionals (DAYP) will hold the 2025 Elite Under 40 Ceremony at The Forum, situated at 231 West Main Street in Dothan, to recognize 15 exceptional young leaders.

Formerly called 20 Under 40, the annual event honors young people who have used leadership, service, and creativity to significantly impact their businesses and the Wiregrass region.

The following are the 2025 Elite Under 40 honorees:

1. Joseph Armstrong, Wiregrass Insurance Agency Principal

2. Jessica Barnes State Farm Insurance, Jessica Barnes Owner Agent

3. Marketing Navii’s owner, Pamela Barnes

4. Funeral Director Andrew Byrd, Sunset Memorial Park

5. Seay, Seay & Litchfield, Architect Tony Coleman

6. Adam Dozier, Troy Bank & Trust’s VP and Commercial Loan Officer

7. Exchange Center for Child Abuse Prevention Executive Director Lilly Flowers

8. Emily Harrell, Preferred Risk Services Account Executive

9. Shelley Hoffman, Omni Marketing Group’s Director of Operations

10. Sarah Holland, Property Champions Real Estate’s marketing specialist

11. Move4 Studio’s founder and owner, Kendall Johnson

12. Kimberly Johnson, Elevate Medical’s co-owner and director of marketing

13. Lawrence Johnson, Friend Bank Investment Officer/CPA

14. Executive Vice President of Production of Qualico Steel Company, Inc., Tate O. Connor.

15. Senior Project Manager Alec Reeves of Reeves & Shaw Construction

According to Lori Wilcoxon, Chief Operating Officer of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, each of the awardees has received many awards and possesses qualities that perfectly capture the essence of the Elite Under 40 program. They have been recognized as one of DAYP’s Elite Under 40 because of their exceptional work performance as well as their humanitarianism and philanthropic endeavors.

The Elite Under 40 program, which was started in 2018, honors rising stars in Dothan for their involvement in the community, entrepreneurial energy, and professional achievement.
