ENTERPRISE, AL (WDNews) On Monday, July 28 at 5:30 p.m., Main Street Enterprise is extending an invitation to the community to attend a special Main Street Mixer event. Magnolia Gaming, situated at 117 North Main Street in Downtown Enterprise, will host the event.

During the free event, community members can meet current Main Street volunteers, play games of bingo and trivia, and find out more about how to get involved in local revitalization initiatives in a laid-back and friendly setting. Throughout the evening, prizes will be given out and refreshments will be sold.

According to Lily McDaniel, Executive Director of Main Street Enterprise, this Main Street Mixer is a fantastic method for individuals to understand what Main Street is all about. There is a place here for anyone who is enthusiastic about supporting small businesses, enhancing public areas, planning events, or just giving back. Every action we take is motivated by our volunteers.

Four volunteer-led committees that are dedicated to enhancing the downtown area run Main Street Enterprise:

Design Committee: Improving downtown areas’ accessibility, safety, and aesthetic appeal.

The mission of the Economic Vitality Committee is to support current companies and draw in new capital.

Promotion Committee: Using events, storytelling, and community involvement to promote downtown.

The organization committee is in charge of organizing volunteers and overseeing program activities.

Mayor William E. Cooper commended the effort and urged locals to come and participate.

“The investment and energy our citizens bring to downtown enterprise is what keeps it growing and thriving,” Mayor Cooper stated. This Main Street Mixer is an enjoyable, unofficial method for folks to find out where they can contribute and help mold our community’s future. This is about being a part of something dynamic and long-lasting, not just volunteering.

Attendees can meet committee members, learn how to become involved, and show their support for downtown renewal. At https://enterprise.recdesk.com/Community/Program, online registration is encouraged.
