DOTHAN, Alabama. The City of Dothan has announced that, owing to ongoing sanitary sewer construction, westbound traffic on West Main Street will be limited to one lane at the junction of Montezuma Avenue from Monday, July 7, until Wednesday, July 9.
Additionally, through traffic on Montezuma Avenue will be prohibited while construction is underway. Weather permitting, the work is planned to be done every day from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Throughout the work zone, drivers should anticipate lane closures and traffic changes. There will be digital arrow signs and traffic cones to help guide cars through the area safely.
It is advised that drivers use caution and stay aware of construction workers on the road.
