(WDNews) A press statement issued Thursday announced that Central Alabama CrimeStoppers has formally changed their name to CrimeStoppers 215-STOP. The organization’s attempt to broaden its scope and harmonize its identity throughout the state is reflected in the name change.
Three new logos have been included to the update and can now be used in promotional and formal messaging. The modification is intended to better correspond with their famous tip line number, 1-833-AL1-STOP.
Executive Director Tony Garrett stated, “This rebranding supports our mission to serve all communities in Alabama with a unified identity.”
