Houston County, Ala. (WDNews) In honor of Independence Day, Houston County government offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 3, and Thursday, July 4.
Sanitation services will operate on Thursday, July 4, according to county authorities, and pickup hours won’t alter. On the day of their normal pickup, residents are asked to put out their recyclables and trash.
On Friday, July 5, all county offices will reopen as usual.
