Kinsey, Ala. (WDNews) On August 26, 2025, the Town of Kinsey will not host a municipal election because all eligible candidates for town council and mayor ran without facing any opposition.
Jason Reneau, the mayor, will be serving another term. Additionally, the following members of the town council will continue to hold their positions:
Jones, Vivian
Nowlin, Tina
Nowlin, Wayne
Nowlin, Whitney
Roediger, Nancy
Sims, Gene
Thomas the King
Alabama law states that a municipal election is annulled and the unopposed candidates are automatically considered the winners if there is no opposition.
