Enterprise, Alabama (WDNews) This Saturday, June 28, Enterprise will host a community 5K run and walk with the goal of increasing awareness and support for addiction recovery.
At Bates Memorial Stadium, 500 E. Watts Street, the Run with Purpose: Raising Awareness, Stepping into Recovery event will get underway at 8 a.m. The event is being held in support of the New Life Recovery Program by Christian Mission Centers in collaboration with BBS Fitness.
The registration fee is $30, and the program will get all earnings. Medals and a complimentary pair of shoes from Weevil Run will be awarded to the top two male and female finishers in the running and walking divisions.
From 8 to 10 a.m., street restrictions are anticipated on Airport Road, Faegin Street, and Alberta Street. About 100 people are anticipated by the organizers.
