Fireworks, Freebies, and a Surprise: IllEagle Fireworks Grand Opening Set for Friday, June 20

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) – A brand-new fireworks store is lighting up Dothan just in time for July 4th. IllEagle Fireworks, woman-owned by Dusty McKinley, will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, June 20 at 10 a.m. with a ribbon cutting at 5423 South Oates Street.

The celebration will include 20% off all day, a $500 fireworks giveaway, free sno cones for the first 100 guests, and food from Earnie’s Food Truck. Shoppers can also preview fireworks on screen using an in-store QR code before making a purchase.

IllEagle Fireworks is a division of Pyro Productions, the parent company owned by Charles McKinley, who told WDNews, “We have the biggest and baddest fireworks in Dothan.” All items are made by the same manufacturers behind professional-grade fireworks.

The store is open year-round for birthdays, reunions, weddings, and more—and even offers a phone app to ignite fireworks remotely. Military, first responders, and teachers receive year-round discounts.

Everyone is invited, and organizers say a big announcement will be made at the ribbon cutting. You don’t want to miss it.
