DOTHAN, Ala. (WDNews) — Local businessman and retired Army pilot Dave Stock has officially qualified to run for Dothan City Commission in District 4, becoming the first candidate on the ballot for that district.
Stock served 23 years in the U.S. Army and now manages a major contract at Fort Rucker. He previously founded a successful Wiregrass flight school and is currently developing downtown Dothan properties, including The Forum—an event venue on Main Street he runs with his wife.
Stock is a strong supporter of local law enforcement, a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, and active in several civic and veteran organizations.
His campaign kickoff and meet-and-greet will be held on
Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 6:30 p.m.

in downtown Dothan.
