– Residents in Daleville will have an opportunity to safely dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs during a special takeback event on Tuesday, June 18.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Daleville Public Library, located at 308 Donnell Blvd. It is being hosted in partnership with SpectraCare Health Systems.
Organizers encourage the public to bring any unwanted or outdated medications for proper disposal to help prevent misuse and promote safe homes. No questions will be asked, and the service is free and anonymous.
Prescription drug takeback initiatives aim to reduce the risk of medication misuse and environmental hazards associated with improper disposal.
