PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WDNews) —
A new family attraction is making waves in Panama City Beach as Dolly Parton’s
Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show
officially opens its doors this summer.
The high-energy production features live-action pirate battles, acrobatics, and musical performances—all while guests enjoy a four-course meal. The dinner show, designed to give families an evening break from the beach, is already gaining praise from visitors.
“For families looking for something to do after the beach, this fills the gap,” said one guest from Tennessee. “It’s a great way to enjoy dinner and entertainment in one spot.”
Children attending the show say the mermaids are a standout feature, adding an extra layer of magic to the pirate-themed spectacle.
Beyond the stage, the new attraction is providing an economic lift to the region. The show has created more than 300 jobs, and officials with the Dollywood Company say they expect it to support broader tourism growth throughout northwest Florida.
“We’re thrilled to be part of this community,” said Pirates Voyage spokesperson Ellen Liston. “Creating jobs and boosting tourism is a big part of our mission, and we’re proud to bring something unique to this area that benefits locals and visitors alike.”
