Troy, Ala. (WDNews) –
Drivers in Troy will soon notice a change at a familiar intersection.
The City of Troy is converting the signalized intersection at Park Street and University Avenue into an All-Way Stop beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 16, 2025. The intersection is right beside the side of Troy University Campus facing towards downtown.
The decision to remove the traffic signal and implement a All- way stop comes after an engineering review. Moving forward, traffic approaching the intersection from all directions will be required to stop completely.
City officials are urging motorists to stay alert and use caution as they adjust to the new traffic pattern in this busy area.
