“Yoga Toes” the new trend that sees women stretch their toes to make them more “pretty”

Covid toes aside, 2022 is apparently the year of the ‘Yoga Toes’, well, according to a group of women on social media.

We guess you’re wondering, what the heck are Yoga Toes?

It all has to do with the latest trend on the video-sharing platform app TikTok, in which women stretch their toes with gel separators to make their feet look “prettier” (whatever their appearance).

Although the forced flaring of the toes is not part of a typical yoga flow, the trend is compared to the act of stretching for relief as is done with exercise.

Wellness and yoga enthusiast Belle Rose has amassed 102,000 followers throughout her journey to get her gut healthy and get rid of bloating.

But, stretching your toes seems to be near the top of your to-do list recently.

In multiple clips that amassed hundreds of thousands of collective views, Belle shared her excitement at meeting Yoga Toes.

“Something I didn’t know I needed until I got it,” the influencer shared.

Belle then filmed her toes in the gel separators that stretched them out while propping her feet up on a stool.

“My future self will thank me for the cute little toes she has,” she declared.

The wellness influencer has explained that she practices Yoga Toes for three hours a day or even sleeps with the spacers on.

“[Son para] realign the structure of your feet, our toes get crushed by shoes!

“The toes play a very important role in the health of the entire foot. They strengthen the feet, prevent future injuries and release pressure.”

In awe of the Yoga Toes practice, many people took to the comments to share their love for stretching their toes.

One person commented: “Stoppp, I’ve been using mine every day and I’m glad I’m not the only one.”

Another user added: “As a millennial who squeezed her feet into pointe ballet shoes for the better part of 10 years, I highly recommend this. In fact, they work.”

While a third person expressed, “No, because I used to spread my toes like this all the time with things because I was so self-conscious about the way they touched and now my toes are spread wide apart.”

Someone else expressed, “I just know these feel good.”

Meanwhile, a fifth person confessed: “I have been influenced.”

And, social media user Katlyn Michelle has even been swayed into action.

She shared in a clip: “I saw this girl on TikTok buying Yoga Toes and helping her feet return to their natural shape. So of course I had to buy some. Hoping it corrects my bunion.

Instead of going for a blue version like Belle, Katlyn decided to go for a pink gel stretcher.
